Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a skilled and motivated EDM-A Licensed Elevator Mechanic to join our team.

This role is based in London, Ontario, and involves travel to project sites across Ontario and throughout Canada.

The successful candidate will play a key role in installing, maintaining, and servicing wind turbine service lifts in a dynamic and rapidly expanding industry.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Install, commission, service, and maintain wind turbine service lifts
• Perform both new installations and ongoing maintenance/service work across multiple sites
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems in field conditions
• Work at heights within turbines in varying environments and weather conditions
• Support inspections, upgrades, and preventative maintenance programs
• Travel extensively to wind farms across Ontario and throughout Canada
• Represent UpWind with strong technical capability and professionalism

What You Bring

• Proven wind turbine experience (required)
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience working at heights and in confined spaces
• Ability to work independently and adapt in the field
• Willingness to travel regularly
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid passport
• GWO Training preferred (Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling)
